Halloween 2010

This year i decided to make my kids costumes like i had done a few years ago. I made Brielle this Tinkerbell costume and she was sooooo excited to wear it!I usually put Bri's hair up like this because she still doesn't have much hair and it worked perfect for this costume!

Tinkerbell

All i used to make this costume was two different tints of green toole, green satin ribbon, green sparkle wired ribbon and a dollar store wand and wings. It was so easy and fun to make!

PIRATE Carter wanted to be a pirate, so i just made him a similar costume to the one that i had made him when he was 14 mos. old. He was the cutest pirate going around saying, "AYE MATEY!" and "YO HO! YO HO! THE PIRATES LIFE FOR ME!" just like they do on the pirates of the carribean at Disneyland. He was so funny!

For Carter's costume i just cut up red and white striped fabric and made the bandana, belt and patches on some cut up sweat pants. Then i cut up the white shirt and strung some rope through some holes that i cut for the chest and then i got all the accessories at the dollar store.

Mermaid
Addilyn's costume was one that i had made with my friend Jess 3 years ago for Bri and it fit Addi better than it did for Bri. I was so excited that both my girls got to wear it.

Carter loved seeing his old friends!

Addi got this adorable tutu from her Grandma Burrup and she wore it to Carter's preschool Halloween party.

There were crafts, games, and lots and lots of treats! the kids loved it!

passing out candy for the trunk or treat

Landon entered me in the chili cook off so i made this chili that my sister-in law made for us when we visited them and it was to die for! AND I WON!!!!!!! I WAS SO EXCITED!

We have become really good friends with our neighbors Lelon and Stacy and their two kids Aiden and Sidney so we invited them to come to our ward party and we all had a great time! Their family is so much fun!

I saw these lashes at walmart and had to get them. they look really cool but it was kinda hard to see with them on.

The kids and i made a haunted house and they loved decorating it. They actually piled the candy on so much that the roof caved in so i had to change the design of the roof to fix it. Then they had to top it off with spooky spider webs. They both had tummy aches afterwards from eating too much candy!
