Saturday was National Teddy Bear Day!

For National Teddy Bear day we went with our friends the Goodmans to down town Glendale for some fun activities. They had a bunch of free things they were handing out for the kids and had a stilt walker, face painter, free caricature artist, balloon twister, cookie decorating and more! A lot of the free things were either all gone by the time we got there or the lines were forever long but the few things we did do were fun!
Carter and his friend Sara giving the bear BONKS!(as Carter calls it.) That bear had to be dying of heat in that costume! It was sooooo hot that day!

Carter and Landon got swords from the Balloon Twister.

Sword fight!
Carter trying to twist the balloon like the Balloon twister guy.
Bri played with the sword for 5 min. then it popped! Good thing we had two!
We went to the Cerreta Candy co. and let Carter decorate a chocolate Teddy bear! Carter went a little crazy with the white chocolate and candies. Doesn't that look yummy?

Like I said on the phone, that is the cutest thing you could say you are doing when someone calls you out of the blue! haha :)
