For the past two weeks i have caught Carter taking my scriptures off the bookshelf in the hallway, when he thinks i'm not paying attention, and bringing them in his room. He then hides behind his table pretending to read the scriptures and singing as he turns the pages.
I finally got a picture of it before he caught me watching him. it is the cutest and sweetest thing to see him doing his personal scripture study everyday for the past few weeks. I hope this continues!
He also tries to be like his dad and gets landon's push up handle bars out and tries to do push ups everyday.
He really tries to go down all the way and grunts while doing it. It is sooo funny!
He is such a great example to me everyday and doesn't even know it. He reminds me that i need to prioritize the things i do everyday, and scripture study and exercise are things that should come first. He is a constant reminder that i not only need to teach him the right things to do but that i need to be showing him by example because he watches and copies everything.

OH my gosh those pictures are precious! I love the push up ones and the fact that he grunts while he does it is even better! haha. And thats so cute that he takes the scriptures and hides behind his table to read them! We got Brayden his own little book of mormon which he thinks is so cool! I agree with you on kids being such good examples. You really have to watch what you say and do because they copy everything... the good and the bad! :)

Carter is the cutest kid in the world. I can't believe he already knows about personal scripture study! He is going to be a killer missionary! He is also going to be a fabulous athlete! So, so cute!
